MountainTutors and/or its tutors collect personal information in relation to parents and students which you voluntarily provide when expressing any interest in our services, contacting us or applying to use our services. MountainTutors and/or its tutors will require the following personal information about the student in order for us to deliver our service:

-Date of birth of student(s)

-Student’s nationality
-As the student’s studies progress, the tutors will accumulate information in relation to the student’s work and their progression.
Information we collect in relation to the parents/guardians are:

-Any other information which may be provided and is relevant to the education of your child or children.
Payment Data
We may collect data necessary to process your payment if you purchase our service, such as your payment instrument number (debit/credit card numbers, account details if paying by Direct Debit). All personal information that you provide to us must be true, complete and accurate, and you must notify us of any changes such as personal information and/or changes to bank details in order to continue with Direct Debit payments without disruptions.

HOW LONG DO WE KEEP YOUR INFORMATION?
MountainTutors and its tutors will only keep your personal information for as long as it is necessary for the purposes set out in this privacy policy unless a longer retention period is required (such as when you decide to continue after the course has ended) or permitted by law (such as tax and accounting requirements). No purpose in this policy will require us to keep your and your child’s or children’s personal information for longer than one year.
When we have no legitimate business need to process your personal information, we will either delete or anonymise such information.
HOW DO WE KEEP YOUR INFORMATION SAFE?
MountainTutors have implemented appropriate technical and organisational security measures designed to protect the security of any personal information we process. Access to personal information is limited to employees and contractors of MountainTutors who have a business need with them. We will do our best to protect your and your child’s or children’s personal information.
WHAT ARE YOUR PRIVACY RIGHTS?
Access. You have a right to request copies of all personal data MountainTutors holds about you or your child or children. In the event you make a request, we will respond to you within one month of receipt of the request. MountainTutors Tutors may extend this, where necessary.
Correction. It is important that you keep MountainTutors and our tutors up to date with any changes to the personal information provided. This is on the proviso that you have the right to ask MountainTutors to correct or complete any inaccurate or incomplete data we have about you or your child or children.
Erasure. You are entitled to ask us to delete or remove personal information held, where there is no reasonable reason for MountainTutors to continue to hold it. It may not always be possible to comply with your request due to ongoing regulatory or legal obligations in relation to personal information. However, where this is the case, you will be informed of the reasons why it is not possible to comply with the request.
Object to processing. You may object to MountainTutors and our tutors from processing certain information. However, there may be circumstances where this may not be possible as it may be necessary for us to have them in order to continue providing our service or due to other obligations. If you object to us processing your personal information under legitimate reason, then we will stop processing it.
Opting-out. You can opt out of our marketing emails. In order to do so, follow the instructions at the bottom of the marketing emails or contact us directly via email.
